Navy Canvas Shopping Tote
The Updated Canvas Shopping Tote was born out of demand...kinda. We made a handful of basic canvas totes for customers to use as they shop in our store, and the customers kept asking to buy the shopping totes. It is a basic small tote handmade in the KMM & Co. studio in Atlanta. Each one is meticulously crafted from heavyweight canvas. Canvas is a type of cotton canvas known as duck cloth. It's one of the most durable types of cloth, and it's structured enough to stand up on its own and stand up to a beating.

What makes KMM & Co. special?
How the canvas shopping tote gets made
Just like our signature leather totes, each canvas tote is handmade in the USA (at the KMM & Co studio in Atlanta)! The process begins at the cutting table, where we your tote by hand out of a single piece of cotton canvas.
Next, we serge the edges of that canvas to make sure it can't unravel, and we hem the top edge of the bag with a tonal topstitch for a polished finish. Then, we stitch the seams that form the body of the bag, backstitching meticulously to make sure everything is locked into place.
Each of our canvas and leather totes is made to be indestructible, and for the entire life of the bag, we'll gladly repair it in the unlikely event that something goes wrong with the materials or craftsmanship.
